Over the past year, we shared major updates through our annual Chew Chew Wrap. While meaningful, a once-a-year update is simply too far apart for our business, which evolves week to week.
Starting this year, we’re shifting to a monthly update format, let’s call it The Monthly Chew for now. The annual Chew Chew Wrap will still happen at the end of the year, but operational changes, experiments, improvements, and adjustments will now be shared in smaller, more timely updates. This allows us to share changes closer to when they happen and improve faster without waiting a full year.
Separately, unexpected staffing changes over the past month pushed our operations and planning back by roughly 2–3 months. Due to the time and resources already redirected toward hiring and training, we won’t be initiating another hiring cycle for at least the first half of 2026. The updates below reflect those decisions and will take effect in February.
To better match our current operational capacity, we’re adjusting our store hours slightly.
